Commissioning a portrait is a friendly and collaborative affair between the artist and sitter.  I usually start with a combination of at least one sitting, preferably in your home, which involves taking reference photographs and making sketches from life. Having this sitting enables us to get to know each other and for you, the sitter, to better understand the process!  
The main reason for this taking place in your home is so that you feel relaxed in familiar surroundings but you are also very welcome to visit me in my home in Bath.

Portraits start from £850 for a single head and shoulders on 40 x 30cm and go up from there with price depending on size and complexity.

Travel expenses, framing & delivery or shipping costs are not included.  A deposit of 50% is required to secure the commission with the remaining 50% payable upon completion and before delivery.
